Pennsylvania State is looking to legalize online gambling. A reputable casino executive gives senators valid arguments for why internet gambling should be allowed. One of the key benefits of allowing the gambling industry to establish online operators is that younger gamblers will be attracted by the prospect of playing online, and most likely access gambling portals over mobile.
Michael Cohen was one of 12 casino executives to present their case in front of the Senate commission in charge of regulating gambling legislature. At Wednesday’s hearing, the executives gave Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey as positive examples of economic growth due to internet gambling being given the green light.
The executives continued in arguing that since 80% of online players in New Jersey haven’t stepped inside a casino in a long time, a major change in how the state views and regulates gambling is due. Also, 60% of these players are between the ages of 21 and 39, an age range that takes up less than 30% of the land based casino visitors.
