Wednesday, Pennsylvania's state senators proposed a bill to legalize online gambling. The Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati and other three Republicans stated that this measure would introduce an online gambling option offered by every classic casino in the state.
The only condition is that players have to be in Pennsylvania and own an active account.
The proposed bill offers good feedback for the state in financial terms. Internet gambling is expected to generate millions of dollars for the state. Additional help should come from suppliers that could permit the expanding of traditional gambling contributions.
Tom Wolf, Governor, specified that democrats are willing to examine and debate the online gambling regulation. However, there is still a pinch of skepticism regarding the new gambling revenue which is not considered a replacement for bigger taxes.
The approval of this Bill would certainly generate more job openings for the citizens of Pennsylvania and legalizing online gambling will attract tourists as the state is upgrading its casino industry.
