At the end of the latest season of EPT it all came down to three players sitting at the final table. At that moment Martin Finger was the chip leader ahead of Liv Boeree and Mark Teltscher. The game was drawing long when it reached 5am this Wednesday. They had to take a break and continue later in that day but Martin Finger probably didn’t mind that much since he came away the victor.
Martin Finger has garnered a lot of attention ever since his first appearance on the EPT circuit back in Season 7. Just a season later he became an EPT champion and won €720,000. He took another trophy home from EPT10 in London where to won the event to gain around $1 million. Besides all of these fabulous wins he also has a ton of great online tournament results under his belt including a SCOOP title which he grabbed just last year.
The other two players who made it on the podium got €586,500 and €391,000 respectively. You can’t be really upset for not winning when you still rake in that much cash. Both of them are also experienced players who have a vast line of other wins over the last few years.
This can only spell good news for the Poker industry since EPT is slowly but surely becoming a brand name all across the world and their tournaments just keep getting bigger and bigger.
