Derek and Julianne Hough have already established themselves as some of the best dancers to ever set foot on the “Dancing with the Stars” floor which airs on ABC. Fans have been wondering if they will be able to find any success on the road. The first of two shows they have at the Seneca Niagara Hotel assure us that the answer to that question is a resounding “Yes!”
They were backed up by a 10-member dance team while they worked their magic in an almost filled to the brim Events Center. They truly impressed the crowd with their amazing dance moves, elaborate light and video show and live music. The crowd went wild when Julianne fell backwards from the elevated stage into the arms of her dance partner and crowds of ladies went berserk when Derek ripped his shirt off and threw it into the crowd.
During the Las Vegas show, Julianne wore more than 10 different outfits, each more glamorous than the one before it. They were also treated to Derek playing the guitar, live drums, and both of them showing off their impeccable singing voices. To that end, one of the highlights was Julianne singing Katy Perry’s hit, “Firework”. This was obviously a tribute to the Fourth of July.
Casino shows usually tend to be a bit calmer but this was one exhilarating and exciting show. Their choice of final song with One Republic’s “I Lived” seemed to fit the end very well. Mark my words, these siblings are going places with their careers.
