The Delaware Lottery has announced the numbers of their online gaming revenues for the month of July 2015. They have reported an increase in revenue for July even though the poker revenue keeps getting lower and is the lowest since January. The revenue numbers besides poker though are up 30% from the revenue numbers which were declared for June. But if you compare it to the same month of last year, their total gaming revenue is down 17.6%.
The regulatory body in Delaware for gambling has also shown that the state’s online poker revenue is suffering a lot more loses and is 8.2% down on a month-on-month basis. The poker revenue is continuing its decline for the third month in a row. At first they were expecting a constant growth for the revenue but it seems they were a bit wrong.
Since the poker part of gambling in the state is divided to a lot of people not playing from the state, the fact that the numbers are the lowest since the start of the year points to the fact that Delaware is not contributing a lot of players to the online poker tables. This sounds very disappointing if you take into account the initial start the combined network got off to.
