Visiting a casino many times means knowing how to gamble, being a responsible gambler. In some cases a responsible gambler does not necessarily make a responsible person, as we have witnessed this July. Two women wishing to gamble at a state casino left their puppy in a hot car after parking in from of the casino and proceeded to enter the venue.
The dog was found in the hot car that was parked near the casino in Catoosa. Police arrested and jailed the two women, Faith and Kandice Williams, after responding to a 911 call placed by casino maintenance personnel. The man who made the call told police the puppy had been left in the heated car for more than two hours.
The Dachshund-mix dog was rescued from the car by casino security employees that managed to open the car door without breaking the window. They took the puppy out and helped cool it down by giving it some water. It was then taken to the Catoosa Animal hospital by police where the doctors concluded the puppy was doing well, except for the flea infestation it was struggling with.
